5 Track Plan

Healthy Lifestyle Fundamentals

We constantly have to bring back balance between our inner and outer world. The 5 Track Plan gives 5 simple points of consideration and steps, to incorporate into our living, that assist in maintaining and bringing equilibrium (balance).

TRACK 1 – Cleaning up our “Space”

We clean up and improve our Thoughts and Relationships:

  • With and about Self
  • In and around home
  • At work, etc.

A Happy Spirit generates a Healthy Body

We have a responsibility to our Self to clean up our Thoughts and Self-talk, our inner conversations, as well as the WORDS that we speak out loud. The words we speak and think are “sowed” into our life and environment to be experienced. REMEMBER, ALL your cells listen to your thoughts. Find reasons to celebrate life and to be grateful for each moment, even when challenged. At least you are still here!!

We change our behaviour through repetition, which creates new neuro-networks in the brain that are mapped into our behaviour. We learn our habits, which means we can also un-learn things. The key is repeating a new behaviour daily until it is familiar.

Our learning cycle, which maps a new neurological network in the brain, requires that we repeat doing something for a minimum of 5 consecutive days to form the new pathway. Keep repeating the new action for another 21 days, and the behaviour becomes familiar, comfortable and much easier to maintain (remember learning to catch a ball or to drive?) Repeated for 6 months, and you have a new behavior as second nature; a habit. Thus, “being sick” also becomes a habit!

We clean up our own Inner Body. The 70% water, of which the body consists, can be cleaned through a variety of methods (rest of 5 Track Plan) – Remember: Less is more!

We also clean up what we put into our bodies, such as our food, drinks, medications, antibiotics, hormones, GMO’s, etc.
All of which must be avoided to lower the toxic burden that the body absorbs through the digestive tract. Managing the parasite burden naturally is also an ongoing life practice (see our cleanses under “Walk me Through it” at www.damaansa.com/diy).
We clean up what we put onto our bodies such as our cosmetics, skin, hair and house cleaning products. Clean does not mean chemical! Natural cleansers are bicarbonate of soda, lemon or vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, and others. We clean up our physical environment directly around the body, in the bedroom, house, office, etc.

Examples:

  • Check kitchen basin and showers/bathrooms for black mold. If you find a small patch, remove it with vinegar, NEVER with bleach. If there is a lot, get professional mold removers in as the toxins released from cleaning mold incorrectly can cause great illness.
  • Put Bedding and especially Pillows (without covers) in the sun weekly. Open car windows to air your vehicle as you start driving to avoid inhaling Air Conditioning gases.
  • Your skin absorbs and “eats” what you put on it. If you are not willing to literally eat your cosmetics, don’t put it on your skin. Rather use natural oils (coconut oil, avocado oil, beeswax formulations on your skin).

    TRACK 2 – Breathing & Visualisation

    Breathing

Did you know that the only way to efficiently alkalise your body is through oxygenation? You inhale 15,000 litres of oxygen per day, even when you sit at a desk all day. This goes up to 25,000 litres when you exercise. The blood delivers oxygen in areas where there is acid, neutralising acidity through oxidation. Food does not alkalise, it only acidifies less depending on what must be digested.

You can improve on your breathing without going anywhere! It is a powerful, sustainable and free method to improve your rate of sustaining and restoring health. We recommend learning how to do diaphragmatic or abdominal breathing.

Repeating improved mindful and aware breathing, hourly, supercharges your brain and body for healing and alkalising.

    Visualisation

Did you know that our magnificent brain sends messages to our bodies in images and hormones? We constantly (consciously and unconsciously) send messages to our cells by how we speak (to our Selves and others). You can change your body by changing what you think and how you see and speak to your Self. Love heals. Anger destroys…

Exercising the cycle of programming a new behaviour as discussed in Track 1, we follow and apply the basic principles of learning through daily practice which becomes the new way of life.

With that in mind, we learn to visualise and send images of wellness from the brain to the body, especially just before falling asleep at night and as you wake up into your day. By focusing on a representation in your mind’s eye of your radiance and vibrance as you fall asleep, the night-time regeneration unfolds this instruction by the subconscious mind, whilst you sleep.

Focusing on this image of wellness EVERY DAY, provides powerful healing instructions to regenerate according to YOUR blueprint. Stay patient, the body is slower than the Thought. (Keep the image simple. A symbol that represents wellness to you, also works especially well = you can focus on a star or a tree or a DNA strand– whatever represents wellness to you.)

    TRACK 3 – Hydration & Cleansing

    Hydration

We should drink half of our body weight in ounces daily, so a 150lbs (70kg) person must drink 75oz (2 – 2.5Lt) per day.

By hydrating hourly with a glass of electrolyte rich water, you reduce the chronic dehydration and congestion that follows our lifestyles, stresses, cellular processes and toxin exposure. Make your own by adding 2 crystals of course salt to each glass of water.

Stop drinking water half an hour before eating and start hydrating again an hour to an hour and half after a meal.

Congestion and toxicity overload comes from chronic dehydration that leads to disease symptoms expressing. Setting a “drink water” reminder that goes off hourly will help improve your awareness to drinking water hourly. Drinking it in a spirit of gratitude further improves health by providing vital “space and work room” inside cells and fluid enough to remove debris. This is part of our daily regeneration and detoxing processes.

    Cleansing

Our systems are self-healing, self-cleaning. It heals when we provide the environment within which healing can take place!

The vital organs for detoxing are:

Lungs (70% of detoxing happens through the lungs)

Skin (20% of waste is removed through the skin)

Kidneys (7% of waste leaves the body through urine)

Colon (3% of body’s daily waste is removed through faeces)

Some of our most effective detoxing techniques:

    Hydration and Breathing hourly
We also use ImmunoClean™ which does just that, help support the processes of the body cleaning the body fluids whilst improving immune function.

You can read more about it on our website.

    • Sauna (2x per week) or dry brushing (daily).
    • Jumping (daily) – also known as rebounding.
    • Enemas for colon and liver cleansing (saline, camomile, ImmunoClean™ enemas) are regularly done.
    • Reduction of eating toxic foods is implemented.
    • We encourage vegetable juices, herbal teas and soups made freshly with what is available locally.

    Supportive detoxing systems through

    • Digestive tract is a 9m tube which is 300m2 surface area from which and into which the body is exposed to food breakdown and toxins and waste coming out the body.
    • Lymph fluids make up 40lbs (18kg) of weight – saunas, dry brushing and rebounding.
    • Blood makes up only 203oz (6Lt) of body weight, which means waste carried away by blood can make the blood “thick” and condensed under dehydrated conditions – breathing, juicing and effective hydration lowers the burden.
    • Lungs: You exhale 70% of your daily waste out from a surface area of 100m2 – breathwork, hydration and lung cleanses.
    • The Liver produces (35oz) 1Lt of bile daily to bind to toxins and breaking down cells, blood and debris excreted through faeces, urine, skin – enemas, teas and liver flushes to support expelling pathways.
    • Your body excretes waste water through your Skin, 2m2 surface area – daily dry brushing, saunas, rebounding and skin cleanses are useful support practices.
    • Kidneys filter 6335oz (180Lt) of blood daily – there is only 6Lt in your body – support with low animal protein diet, teas and cleanses. Keep kidneys warm for best function.

    TRACK 4 – Nutrition

    Nutrition

Eating a plant-based whole food diet provides all the nourishment you require to regenerate healthily.

A diet of 50% raw, 50% cooked food provides a balanced supply of vital nutrients, enzymes and amino acids. Eat raw foods before cooked as it digests at a different speed.

Raw and cooked foods digest at different speeds through the Image: Pexels, Maarten van den Heuvel digestive tract. Eat fruit away from meals and before cooked foods. Melons should not be eaten with other foods or fruits as it may cause indigestion.

The main meal of the day is recommended to be at midday (12 – 13.30pm) as that is when digestive juice production is optimal. Eating the main meal midday gives your body time and energy to work on itself to regenerate and rejuvenate YOU at night, rather than being busy with digestion of heavy meals.

It is beneficial to keep meals at night light and no later than 6-7pm. Avoid lying down or going to sleep with a full stomach of food. It not only impairs sleep, but also may lead to other problems such as forming a hiatus hernia and other digestive challenges.

Legumes replace meat to provide protein supply that outperforms flesh. Preparation matters – see
our notes on this at www.immunoclean.com A cup of legumes (lentils / beans) outperforms a 100g of beef, see the infograph on the left. Stomach acids are vital to serve as a first defence and especially for digesting all protein. Stomach acid is also your defence against bacteria, parasites, fungi, viruses on the foods.

Reproduce stomach acid (especially when you have been stressed) by having a glass of lemon or apple cider vinegar water and a crystal of Himalayan salt before meals. This will switch the parasympathetic nervous system on – digest and heal.

TRACK 5 – Healthy Lifestyle Fundamentals

    Your Ever-Ready Immune System

Restoring and activating your Divinely Programmed Immune System is a multi- dimensional and ongoing process.

Attitude is everything! Being in a state of happiness and gratitude releases endorphins and dopamine, which keep the cells and immune system healthy and strong.

When we are constantly in “fight and flight” state (a stressed state equals constant high adrenalin: cortisol fluctuation levels), the endocrine system keeps the immune and digestive systems switched off, because both use a lot of energy. Help your system to switch out of fight and flight into healing and digestion, by drinking a glass of water with a crystal of Himalayan salt and some fresh lemon before a meal. You can also use organic apple cider vinegar instead of lemon (Hydrochloric acid – hydro = water, chloric = chloride = salt, acid = lemon or ACV)

As a way of life, our gut flora is replenished daily through dietary intake of home-fermented vegetables. Probiotics is vital for immune function. Our friendly bacteria synthesize (manufacture)
vitamins and minerals out of your food. They also produce neurotransmitters such as melatonin and serotonin daily. Up to 95% of these neurotransmitters are produced by gut flora (NOT the brain).

70% of your immune system is made up by the 2kg friendly bacteria (microbiome) that lives in the digestive tract. It weighs the same as your brain! It is killed through stress, antibiotics, chemicals and pharmaceuticals and poor lifestyle.

By restoring gut flora, we improve our sleeping capacity. Remember sleeping patterns are also habits which can be re-programmed.

The most regenerative time for sleeping during the night hours is from 10pm – 3am. This is a vital time of rest to rejuvenate, rebuild and detox. Our lifestyle habits therefore either greatly supports or thwarts our immune system function. Our circadian rhythms (day-night cycles) become disturbed with the constant artificial light into the retina from city lights, to laptops, TV and phones at night. Make sure to get the room dark at night and stop using the TV, phone or laptop at least an hour before bed so the signal for melatonin release can be given!

We use ImmunoClean™ for most of our daily health challenges. It cleanses the 70% water of our body through oxidation. Oxidation lowers the toxicity rate in the cells, that is also why the blood collects oxygen when we breathe to deliver everywhere in your body. The immune system is activated and supported to efficiently remove waste, through the stimulating herbal formulation. As a result, our immune system is much more effective in dealing with every day and chronic tasks and threats, having a cleaner environment to work within.
